Norwegian children's book translated into Irish

The second book ever to have been translated from Norwegian into Irish, Adolf sna hArda is the story of how Adolf's world is turned upside-down by a cat in peril and by a cleaner lady called Ramona - and of how they turn him into a hero who wins true love.

Adolf sna hArda is originally illustrated and written in Norwegian by Marvin Halleråker as Høyt Over Husene (High over the Roof Tops). This is the second collaboration between Halleråker and the Irish publishing house Cois Life, the first being the highly successful Poll agus a Mhac (2005). The book is suitable for young readers between 7-10 years old. Full colour illustrations.

Adolf sna hArda is published by Cois Life and is distributed by Áis, 31 Sráid na bhFíníní, Baile Átha Cliath 2. (+353-1-6616522). Pice: €9
