The group is based in Oslo at The Norwegian Folkmuseum, the largest open air museum of cultural history in Scandinavia. During summer season the group performs in the open-air museum.
The musicians play the Hardanger Fiddle and the accordion. The Hardanger Fiddle is an original Norwegian folk instrument, that dates back to around 1600.
The dancers and the musicians wear national costumes from different parts of the country.
