Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Støre participated 20 April at the UN conference on combating racism (Durban II) in Geneva.  Mr. Støre spoke immediately after Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and began his speech by strongly opposing the statements made by President Ahmadinejad.
