The famous Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen’s ‘Hedda Gabler’ will come to the Abbey Theatre in April.
‘Hedda Gabler’ is a story about a young woman, newly married and just back from her honeymoon. Over a couple of days, dramatic events, mainly caused by her own web of lies and concealments, make her life take a dramatic turn. And it is all kicked off by the reappearance of her husband’s academic rival and Hedda’s former boyfriend, Ejlert Lövborg.
The play runs at the Abbey Theatre between 10 April and 16 May.
