The Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra made its Irish debut at the National Concert Hall in Dublin

Last updated: 21.08.2015 // This autumn the National Concert Hall is presenting several Nordic concerts.

The Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra from Norway, currently touring Europe celebrating its 250th anniversary opened the series of concerts. They played at the NCH in Dublin Friday 28th of August. Under the baton of its Music Director Andrew Litton the orchestra performed Johan Svendsen's Carnival in Paris, Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto and Stravinsky's Rite of Spring. Award winning guest violinist Alina Ibragimova joined the philharmonic, making the concert an evening to remember.
